For more information or to contact us, please go to www.oeta.tv The verbatim script follows below… SOME PEOPLE SAVE ALL YEAR LONG TO HAVE A BIG FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION… “fourth of july is my husband’s Christmas so we tend to budget for a large party we live in broken arrow so we can legally shoot them off for two days so that’s what we do…” APRIL PRICE SPENT MORE TODAY THAN a lot OF PEOPLE WILL BUT SHE SAYS THIS IS HALF OF WHAT THEY USUALLY SPEND. “we decided to cut it in half this year so we just went with this…” THE PRICES ARE APPARENTLY NOT THE ONLY ONES HOLDING BACK ON BUYING FIREWORKS. TRACY SELLS FIREWORKS TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE CATOOSA SCHOOL BAND. “last year we were quite busy we were seeing an indent in our product this year we see a little bit but not near as much as last year.” TRACY TURNER SAYS LAST YEAR THEY WERE WORRIED THAT GAS PRICES WOULD SLOW SALES BUT IT DIDN’T. THIS YEAR, SHE SAYS THE RECESSION IS IMPACTING THEIR FIREWORKS FUNDRAISER. “I believe so everybody this year is price shopping they are comparing prices when they come.. …” AT JAKES FIREWORKS IN CATOOSA BUSINESS HAS BEEN SLOW BUT THEY’RE HOPING TO CATCH UP THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. OFFICER BRAD JAMES WITH THE CATOOSA POLICE DEPARTMENT SAYS HE VOLUNTEERS HERE EVERY YEAR FOR A FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE FUNDRAISER. “as of
